Ad-hoc thinking at its worst... (with a focus on Groove Virtual Office)
This weekend I have been doing another leg (litterally) of The Ridgeway "Britain's Oldest Road. The leg was split either side of the River Thames, crossing at Goring & Streatley. This is an amazing piece of history - most roadways of any value in Britain have been main into proper roads. The Ridgeway on the other hand has been a road for over 5,000 years - and has been in contunuous use sine Stone Age man. This weekend we covered 20 miles of first class scenery. Simply stunning. Part of the journey included 3.5 miles of Grim's Ditch heading wesstward towards the River Thames. Grim's Ditch refers to a range of earthworks across Britain that are around 2000 years old.I would like to show off photos but my digital camera is at the mending shop, so we are using our APS camera.
