Ad-hoc thinking at its worst... (with a focus on Groove Virtual Office)
It has been a hard long road.. but we are getting there, of that there is no doubt.

Vowe comments in http://vowe.net/archives/004721.html#comments about the lack of Mac integration of Groove. Methinks he doth protest too much! Sure it would be great if Groove ran on Mac, but there are serious business cons that prevent Groove from going headlong in that direction. Meanwhile little ol' PopG delivers... It has been a hard road for PopG. We have not the jourlistic clout of Vowe to makes waves, nor do we have the financial backing of GN. But we are improving our business and solution substantially. Perhaps Volker should open his eyes and take a fresh look at what is being badged as Groove 3.0 - Virtual Office Software. Actually if you take a liberty for a second, then you might notice that Vowe is being eternally embedded in Groove's new epithet.

Oh, for an IM aggregator...If Groove (or someone) can integrate MSN messaging, AOL messaging etc into groove and groove's IM - now that would be a killer app. After all we have email integration (Groove's send2groove, AvantMail etc), so why not IM integration.

Why have a blogging tool inside Groove? What is the point?Well, for me it is a good thing. One value lies in the ownership of Intellectual Property. For me IP that resides in Groove is a GOOD THING: IP that resides outside Groove is a BAD THING. IP that is developed within Groove and reflected outide is almost an ideal. And that's what Tim Knip's blogging tool does for me.
