A wasted opportunity?

PopG was not involved in the Bande Aceh part of Tsunami recovery. As commented on in http://www.baselinemag.com/article2/0,1397,1791567,00.asp the Groove involvement was less effective because of lack of high-bandwidth availability. PopG adds value to low-bandwidth "last mile" by fixing the bandwidth at somewhere between 1kbps and 30kbps. Considering dialup modems tend to operate at 56kbps that can be plenty good enough. Once the user is hooked into Groove on the PopG service they can have high-quality bandwidth - the kind that Grooe Virtual Office loves!
