Congratulations to Groove Networks on completing its next funding round. $38m will ensure that this paradigm-beating platform can really take off. It is a long haul in the era after the Intenet hype has died down for any business to grow and expand.

Of course, it was Marshal McLuhan that said, "The Medium Is the Message" and our particular PopG + Groove collaborating for productivity medium provides McLuhan’s designation and awareness of the advancing "Global Village" a new 21st century technology tool to ponder.

We think that most in the post-McLuhan era will say that PopG + Groove is a positive (rather than a negative) to McLuhan's questions related to his view of technology as an extension of the human body.

McLuhan's questions in the PopG context are:

1. What does PopG + Groove (the medium and technology) extend with regard to the Global Village?

2. What does PopG + Groove make obsolete with regard to the Global Village?

3. What is retrieved by PopG + Groove with regard to the Global Village?

4. What does the PopG + Groove technology reverse into if it is over-extended with regard to the Global Village?

Please send your answers to charles@popg.co.uk for publication in this blog of what you think Marshal McLuhan's answers would be today. The three contributors with the most interesting answers will receive a free 90-day subscription to PopG.
